Helpful Links
This page is where we are going to share websites, books, short stories, and advertisements that might help in the skating world. We want to share helpful tips about health, equipment, and blogs to help you succeed. Links we put on here, do your own research , and see if it is a fit for you or your rink. Feel free to ask us to look into subjects or put a question out there for other skaters. Hopefully down the road, we can add a buy, sell, trade page that people can posts things to! This could help save a few dollars for a few.
As 2018 comes to a close I want to thank everyone for their past support this year. It is a continued blessing servicing all who have passed through our doors, not only last year but in the past as well.
We recently starting working on a new web site for Geppetto's and Ask Mr. Edge. How long this will take is anyone's guess but, unlike before, both Mark and I will now have complete control over the
internal workings of the site.
What this means for you our customers:
1. We will be able to update the site on a daily basis if necessary.
2. Our blog site will be incorporated into the new website so finding articles and other information will be all inclusive.
The newly updated Ask Mr. Edge skaters equipment and injury guide will be available mid-summer. It will be available on Amazon and directly through Geppetto's. Retail price is expected to be $9.95
Geppetto's will be releasing another exciting announcement coming in early January. Stay tuned for more on that in our early January newsletter.
We recently published an Ice Skater's Equipment Guide and anyone purchasing a new or used pair of skates will receive one free of charge. Anyone else who wishes a copy can stop in anytime and pick one up.

Did you know that your club could host -" Girl Scout Lesson"
Does your club have any Girl Scouts? Go speak to their troop leader and ask their ages. Juniors and up need to start teaching and leading. They also need other fun things to learn, and have a outing. Allow the troop to help host with you, so the girls get credit.
Why would a club want to do this? New skaters to your LTS program. Your local troop leader can introduce you to the district leader. Invites can be sent out on a first come bases. Figure out how many girls you can have. Get your junior board to help tie skates and teach the lesson between hockey and figure skating. Do some basic snowplow sam lesson on ice.
Yes, you might have to pay for Ice, but I heard on a Pacific Coast call- the Average skater spends between 9-18 thousand dollars a year. So, if you get 1-2 skaters from this lesson, your club will make that money back! Pick the right people to do this lesson, because first impressions are the best! Also don't forget, LTS is for all ice sports. Help support all!
